20 weeks

I'm what would be half-way through a normal singleton pregnancy. I know I already passed the half-way point, but I won't know what the actual half-way point is until these boys arrive. Wow. Every day it seems more real.

One of my books says that at 20 weeks, my babies are each 10 inches long (head to heel). U and I have a hard time believing that one. It also says they are 10.5 oz. However, I bet they are bigger now since they were close to that about a week and a half ago.

So far, so good.

Glucose Test

I just did my glucose test. Basically, they give you 5 minutes to drink this super syrupy orange soda. Then an hour later they take your blood and test it. Usually they do this between 24 and 28 weeks. But don't you know I'm doing it at 19 weeks. yuck. I hope I don't have gestational diabetes!

19 weeks

Today I am officially 19 weeks along. At our last appointment, babies A and B were 9 oz. and baby C was 10 oz. They are keeping a close eye on the boys to make sure they don't develop twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). So far, there is no evidence they are experiencing TTTS. Everything looks virtually perfect. We were able to see fingers, toes, arms, legs, stomaches, brains. They move around constantly (especially at 4:30am when I am sleeping). I'm resting a lot more than normal and U has been wonderful with everything.
